Visiting panama rocks during the covid-19 pandemic

An inherent risk of COVID-19 exists in any place people are present. You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 when visiting Panama Rocks. Our #1 priority always has and always will be safety of our family, staff, and guests.

PLEASE MAKE A RESERVATION ONLINE BEFORE YOUR VISIT. We ask that guests make a reservation to help prevent crowding (PLEASE sign our digital waiver BEFORE arriving).

ALL GUESTS MUST FOLLOW OUR COVID-19 SAFETY RULES:
  1. Please DO NOT VISIT if you or anyone in your group is sick or if you have been in contact with someone who has been sick in the last two weeks.
  2. PLEASE BRING A MASK (covering both mouth and nose) for check-in. You may choose to remove your mask or face covering while on the trail as long as you can maintain a safe distance of more than 6-feet from other guests.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  1. Will there be other people on the trail? Yes. While there is no occupancy limit for the forest, we have reduced our parking spaces by about 40% (eliminating one of two parking areas) and we are limiting the number of guests who enter at one time. You will pass by other people on the trail. The scenic area is over 20 acres and there is plenty of space. At some points the trail is wide enough to leave 6 feet between guests, and at other points the trail narrows to about 3-4 feet wide. Masks are required if you are within six feet of a person from another group. Please be aware of your surroundings and respectful of other's personal space. If you want to come when there are very few people, we recommend making a reservation in the morning (the park opens at 10:00am) during a weekday (weekends are busier than weekdays). Please be aware that early morning reservations fill up fast.
  2. Do guests have to wear a mask on the trail? Masks are not required when hiking outside BUT we ask all guests to put on a mask if they have to come within 6-feet of other guests.

As always, we do NOT allow pets and all guests must be accompanied by a legal adult age 18+. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

** Masks help protect other people. This is required to protect the health of our family, staff, and guests. Guests not wearing masks at check-in may not be allowed to check-in if doing so requires a guest without a mask to come within 6 feet of our staff or another person. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if we believe they are a threat to the health and safety of others.
