RESERVATION TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of service for Glamping are below. Be kind. We reserve the right to refuse service, without refund, to any guest who does not follow park rules, disobeys instructions from park staff, or is rude to others.
By making a reservation I accept these terms and I agree that my guests and I will abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published and posted online, at the Premises, or otherwise communicated in any manner by Panama Rocks staff or management.
I accept responsibility and liability for the members of my party and for all acts resulting in damage to property or persons.
I understand that Panama Rocks reserves the right to remove anyone who breaks park rules or otherwise misbehaves on the premises without refund.
I agree that any damage to Panama Rocks property will be disclosed to the park office immediately.
I give permission to Panama Rocks to charge the credit card that I used to make my reservation (card on file) to pay for professional repair or replacement of damaged park property and consequent lost revenue for damages of park property in my care and/or for damages caused by myself, my children, my guests, or my pets.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Campers may check-in between the hours of 2:00pm and 5:00pm. We ask that all guests check-out by 10:00am. If you need to check-in or check-out outside of these hours, please contact park management as soon as possible at 716-703-0021 or jonathan@panamarocks.com.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS: Full refunds are available if you cancel up to 14 days before your check-in date. Partial refunds of 50% are available if you cancel 7 to 13 days before your check-in date. No refunds are available if you cancel within 6 days of your check-in date. Full refunds are available if Panama Rocks has to cancel your reservation before check-in.
PARKING: Park in the main parking lot when not loading or unloading. Campers may drive back to the campground to load and unload their vehicle (we have carts for your use by the woodshed - please keep vehicles on the gravel paths). All vehicles of overnight guests must be registered with the park and have a parking pass visible on the inside dashboard.
TENT CARE: Our tents are made of cotton canvas that can stain or tear if not treated with respect. We carefully document the condition of each tent and its contents before and after each rental
VISITING THE ROCKS: GUESTS ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE ROCK AREA DURING POSTED HOURS. Admission to the Panama Rocks scenic area is included with your overnight stay; however, guests are only allowed in the scenic rock area between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm unless additional hours are noted by park management. Please enter the rock area only at the main entrance booth. Guests who enter the scenic rock area after hours will be required to immediately leave the park/campground without a refund and may face prosecution for criminal trespass (we’re serious about this – accidents can result in serious injury and/or death).
NO FOOD OR BEARS IN TENTS OVERNIGHT: You can eat in your tent but DO NOT store ANY food or food waste in your tent overnight (bears can smell food even if it is sealed/unopened). You are welcome to store food in our Kitchen Shed or your vehicle. You can also throw away food waste in our animal-proof trash cans located near the shed. Please close and latch the shed door behind you to keep the critters out!
CAMPFIRES: You are welcome to start a fire in one of our designated fire pits. Please do not burn anything other than wood. DO NOT bring firewood onto our property. We have firewood available for your use and you are welcome to collect fallen sticks from the forest. Do not leave fires unattended and PLEASE make sure that your fire is completely out (including all coals) when you leave to prevent forest fires.
KEEP THE NOISE DOWN: Most of our guests visit to enjoy nature in peace. We ask all guests to respect one another and keep noise to a minimum (conversational level) at all times. Quiet time is from 10:00pm to 9:00am and is strictly enforced.
SUPERVISE CHILDREN & YOUTH: Children and youth must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Youth under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Panama Rocks scenic area without an adult. Youth under the age of 18 must be either at their campsite or with a responsible adult between 9:00pm and 6:00am.
ALCOHOL & DRUGS: Illegal drug use is not permitted. Alcohol is not permitted out of the campground area. Smoking is not allowed in our tents or within 20 feet of our tents or other guests. Public drunkenness/inebriation will not be tolerated (enjoy yourself, but don’t become a problem for others).
ADDITIONAL GUESTS: Guests are welcome between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm when the park is open to the public (they must pay park admission like all other park guests) but please bring no more than five (5) guests to your campsite at one time to keep the grounds peaceful for others.
PETS: Dogs are allowed ONLY in tents/sites that are designated as pet-friendly. Dogs must BE LEASHED AND ATTENDED BY OWNERS AT ALL TIMES while on park grounds. We understand dogs bark now and then, but we may ask you to leave if your dog is barking too much or disturbing others.
LEAVE NO TRACE: Clean up after yourself and make it look like you were never there. This is for your neighbors, future guests, and for the environment. If you moved anything, move it back. Keeping a clean campsite ensures future camping for everyone!
EMERGENCIES: IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY, CALL 911 FIRST. After calling 911, or for small emergencies, please call park management at 716-703-0021. We are a small, family run park and campground and we don’t have 24-hour staff. If your call is not answered on the first attempt, please call a second time and leave a voicemail if needed. We will respond as soon as possible.
