GLAMP & CAMP FAQ

OPEN MAY 22 TO OCTOBER 25

Frequently Asked questions

How Much Does It Cost? The best way to get a price is to use the link below (or click here), select dates, and see what is available. Be sure to scroll down on our reservation page to see current discounts and packages! Here are our starting rates and base prices:
  • Glamping rates vary depending on date and occupancy (select some dates on our reservation system to check prices). Glamping includes admission to the Panama Rocks scenic area at no additional fee.
  • Tent Camping sites start at $39 per night and includes two adult and two youth admission to the Panama Rocks scenic area ($38 value) - a family can camp overnight at almost the same cost as a one-day admission - and get admission to the rocks for two days! Additional campers are $11 for adults and $8 for children charged once for the stay (Season Pass holders can contact us and we will waive/refund any additional admission fees for campers with passes!).

What's In The Glamping Tents?: Our luxury glamping tents contain comfortable beds/futons, a dresser, side tables, patio chairs and table, a mini-fridge, a fan, zero-gravity chairs, a picnic table, a fire-pit, firewood, fire starter, and a lighter. We provide linens, pillows, towels, and extra blankets as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our shared amenities shed provides a coffee maker, microwave, tea kettle, toaster, an extra communal fridge, propane grill, and extra electrical outlets and table space (if you want to set up a crock pot overnight.

Are There Bathrooms and Showers with Hot Water?: Of course! We have a beautiful, newly renovated bathhouse with hot showers, toilets, and sinks (image below). Our philosophy is that bath houses should be good looking and clean!

What Should We Bring?
  • For GLAMPING just bring what you would to a hotel or extras for camping. You may want to bring snacks and cooking utensils for your fire-pit. Additional warm blankets, layered clothing, and extra shoes are always a good idea for cold nights.
  • TENT CAMPERS are provided a beautiful space in the forest with a fire ring as well as access to our amenities shed (with a coffee maker, microwave, tea kettle, toaster, an extra communal fridge) and bath house. Tent campers must bring all of their own supplies. Downed sticks for firewood are still plentiful and split firewood is available for purchase.

What are our Food Options? There are many local food options for guests - including delivery to the campground!
  • Andriaccio's (full-service Italian) and Rock Hill Pizza have in house delivery to Panama Rocks.
  • Uber Eats and Door Dash provide delivery for multiple dining options.
  • Pick-up nearby from Ashville General Store.
  • Multiple nearby breakfast options include Panama Diner, Dutch Village Restaurant, Lake Life Kitchen, Bemus Point Inn, and more (some can be delivered through Door Dash and Uber Eats).

Can We Bring Food?: You are welcome to bring food and/or cook by the fire! You can eat in your tent but, to prevent animal visitors, food and food waste must NOT be left out unattended or overnight.

Can we Bring an Electric Heater? We do not allow electric heaters because they can be a fire hazard. We provide linens and warm fleece blankets. Guests are welcome to bring additional blankets and we recommend warm clothing for cool nights. Propane tent heaters are available as an add-on for glamping tents.

Can We Bring Our Dog(s)?: Yes - at certain sites marked as pet-friendly. Up to two dogs are welcome in our pet-friendly units (look for the paw mark designation) for an additional fee. Dogs must be FRIENDLY WITH STRANGERS AND CHILDREN AND LEASHED AND ATTENDED BY OWNERS AT ALL TIMES while on park grounds (don't leave them alone). We reserve the right to remove any animal that is disruptive, destructive, or dangerous.
  • Glamping Pet Fee: $20 per night per pet.
  • Tent Site Pet Fee: $5 per pet per night.
  • If you want to board your dog for a day or more, reach out to Happy Hounds Hotel in advance!

Can Friends Visit Us? Yes - within reason. You are welcome to host up to six guests at at time between the hours of 10:00am and 9:00pm (after normal park hours). Parties and large groups are not allowed in the campground but we welcome parties and groups in the picnic area or park rec hall during park hours from 10:00am to 5:00pm, or after 5:00pm by reservation. Guests must pay park admission during park hours (10:00am to 5:00pm) and/or before entering the Panama Rocks scenic rock area.  You must secure a guest parking pass before the arrival of your guests who plan to visit after 5:00pm (our office is open from 10:00am to 5:00pm). All guests must sign a park waiver of liability, follow park rules, and leave park grounds by 9:00pm.

What Is There To Do Nearby? Panama Rocks is one of the most popular natural attractions in the area - be sure to schedule at least half a day (or more) to explore the rocks (admission to the rocks is included with your rental). We also offer axe throwing during the summer, which can be booked at a discount for overnight guests. Our area has many wonderful world-class attractions including the National Comedy Center, Chautauqua Institution, Southern Tier Brewing Company, Lake Erie Wine Country, Peak'n Peak, and so much more!
